live in an apt complex and i am thinking about putting a note on the mail box for some 12 to 16 who would like to earn a little cash to walk and feed my dog sat night and sunday morning. if i do this would requirements besides meeting her first should i make?Hey i did the same thing a couple years ago,
All i did was put up a sign in my apartment and asked the person for references, or someone you know to do it, i really would not trust some random person to come into my home even if they have good references.
I got one of my friends daughters to do it.ask for references! look for someone who’s baby sat before or who is responsible. You’ll be letting this person into your house and teenagers are notorious for poor impulse control. otherwise it’s a better idea than leaving the dog in for all that time. Great idea. I would ask the kids to give you a list of 5 people you could call to check references (they need to learn this for the job market anyway). Also, watch them with your dog on a walk with you. Your dog will sense a good person. Look up a reputable pet sitter in your area. Someone with references and a complete background check would be best. Most parents these days are so paranoid, you would probably be answering questions down at the police station if you advertise like that.Phone the local school and ask teacher/principal for a good girl/boy!
