Do you use wellness dog food for your dogs?
Which flavor do you use?
I thought about feeding the fish and sweet potato.
Has anyone used this flavor?Do your dogs like it.?
I am having a hard time getting her off of the Royal Canin she loves it I am feeding Natural Balance with it but she doesn’t seem to like it very much.
Wellness is a great food. My whole family has had great results with it. My 2 year old yorkie loves it and is thriving. As are my mother’s GSD and her 7 month old Airedale.
My yorkie is on the Chicken recipe but he LOVES chicken more than anything on this Earth. The Airedale and GSD are on the puppy recipe. I dont think the flavor really matters, just whatever your dog will eat. It’s a very good thing you are thinking about switching to a GREAT food.
Once you switch to a food you know your dog is getting all of the proper nutrients from, dont fuss over the food. Any healthy dog wouldn’t starve themselves. Even on Wellness, my dog will hold out for a treat when he gets hungry. But when he doesn’t get it, he will chow down on his food.
www.wellnesspetfood.com/dog_welln…Fish, barley (second listed ingredient), and sweet potato is a great alternative formula for dogs with allergies. That is the reason for the limited number of ingredients.
I don’t think it would be a food formula that I would choose for general use however. Because there are natural sources for many of the vitamins and minerals that they are adding.I got a Samoyed a few months back and we transitioned him to Wellness dog food because we were concerned about the quality of his old food. We feed him the Fish & Sweet Potato mixed with their higher protein Core line. Our dog was eating Solid Gold before Wellness and had no problem transitioning – he actually seems to like the taste better. Their treats are decent, too. If you end up deciding to try Wellness, you can visit their website and sign up for free coupons – the latest is $6 off a bag of food.Wellness is one of the best foods available. The flavor doesn’t really matter, just try them all and see which your dog prefers the best!! But yeah Wellness is great because it is all natural and very healthy for your pets. Our vet recommended it and we’ve been feeding it too.I have been feeding my dogs Wellness CORE Oceanfish. This is great stuff. It’s expensive, but Worth it. Since, I’ve switched my dogs, there coats have improved. This may gross you out, but their stool has become firmer and is not loose like it used to be. This is a sign your dog is healthy.yes i like wellness
right now i use the puppy formula (which only comes in chicken)
it is one of the few foods my dog does like to eat (ive tried taste of the wild and natural balance and she didnt like either)Try to find a store that carries sample bags of different flavors of Wellness dog food. Let your dog choose his favorite flavor. Wellness dog food is a good choice though. My English Bulldogs are on Wellness dog food ( simple ) because of there allergies. They have been on this food about 4 years now, and they are doing great on it. I don’t know if I like it, nor do I care to try it and find out. I stay away from food made specifically for pets.
