them while they are in heatYes, but most vets I know will say to wait. It’s better for the dog that way. Some vets will but it is slightly more dangerous as the blood vessels are enlarge leading to possible unexpected bleeding
Dogs are in heat for 21 days just keep her inside and walk her on a leash and go ahead and get an appointment for 4 weeks past the 1st day you noticed the heat .
This would be safer for her. you can buy a spray or tablets to mask her scent but you still have to keep her away from dogs another tip when bringing her for a walk carry her from your house for about 50 yards before you let her down to walk and on the way back carry her from the same spot back to the house . if any dogs pick up the *****’s scent they will follow it in the hope of mating but will lose her sent where you picked her up . so they wont follow you home..dogs will sit and wait and try every trick in the book for several days if they know where the ***** is being housed to mate with herShe can be spayed while in heat, although the surgery is more costly. Ask your vet, he may want to wait until her heat is finished.Yes you can get them spayed. Vet will advise on issues if any. Go for it and then you won’t worry about her having an unexpected pregnancy.
Good decision.Yes;usually costs a bit more & has a slightly elevated risk of excessive bleeding. You can but it’ll cost more to do so.Yes but it will cost a little Xtrayes, but it costs more.
