« Whats a name for my new puppy?

I have a 9 weeks old, male, cocker spaniel pup.
How often do I feed him?
What about water? It’s recommended that you feed a puppy 3 times a day until they are 6 months old, then 2 times a day after that.
As for water, since he’s only 9 weeks old, I’m guessing that you’re potty training him right now; when potty training, you should let your pup have access to water at all times, but take it away a few hours before they go to bed, that way they don’t go to sleep with a full bladder…which makes the potty training process a lot easier!
Good Luck with your new pup!
He should have constant access to fresh water. You can start out feeding him 4 times a day and soon move to 3 times a day. You can research online or in the library for the recommended ages to move to fewer feedings. Choose a high quality puppy food and monitor his stools daily so that you know his digestive system is working properly and that he doesn’t have visible parasites. Make sure he gets his series of vaccinations on time and regular deworming. Read everything you can about caring for your new, beautiful puppy!as for food it gos by weight on the back of your dog food it will say for 5 pounds give—- and so on follow that you can split it in the morning and at night as for the water never pick it up unless you are cleaning the water bowl you pup should have the ablity to get water when ever he wants it
i would buy blue seal it has no wheat no soy additives and no meat by-products it is really the healthiest to feed them it is a little bit hard to find but it is in feed stores it about 21 for A 20 pound bag but well worth it also if they have worms witch all kittens and pups do when they are born it helps control them not kill them so the still would need to be de wormed but it is a wounder full cat food and dogs to

Make sure you always have Fresh Water down for your new baby.Feed him a puppy dry food get a good brand. Some people feel puppies 3 to 4 times a day which is right. He is a puppy and he is growing as i type. Buy some toys for him and play games with him. This is a great way to Bond with him. Love him, feed him and always Fresh water down for him.
Your Friend,
poppy1Hi,
Measure his food and feed him twice a day.
More important than the amount of food your dog gets is his overall condition. He should look muscular, not fat. If you’re unsure whether he’s overweight, give him the eye exam and the hands-on test. First, look down at him: he should have a visible waist. Then place your hands on his back, thumbs along the spine and fingers spread downward. You should be able to feel but not see his ribs. If you can’t feel the last two ribs, he needs less food and more exercise. If you can see his ribs, feed him more.

Water should be freely available, but you might want to add some puppy milk to it (10%) for flavour if he isn’t interested.feed him once every morning at about 7 to 8 o’clock and in the evening at about 6 to 7 o’clock i did that with my spainiel and i never looked back!!!!!!!!food in bowl 24/7
