How to prevent my dog from snoring so much.?

I have a ten year old Cocker Spaniel and my best friend in the world. He sleeps on my bed at night but often he’d snore loud enough to either wake me up or keep me awake until I reposition him or wake him up. So I end up waking up 4 or 5 times in a night and getting up more tired than when I went to bed.
There is no solution to this I am sure but what I tried was:
1. Had him checked out at the vet for nasal problems. Since my dog was recently diagnosed with cancer after a biopsy on a lump on his head, the vet just said there may be a tumor in his nose. I fail to see however how the nose and the lump on his head are connected. I am currently still in denial about the cancer diagnoses because he seems fine and because it’s more comfortable for me I suppose.
2. I made him sleep outside my room but I still hear him snore but not as much. In any case unless I close my door, hell come back in and if the door is closed he’ll scratch a little at it and I know he’s feeling miserable.
I suppose when he’s gone I will miss his snoring and everything else that makes him such a good friend but right now I just want to get some sleep.I am sorry for your dog. Please make him comfortable in your room again. You could invest in ear plugs. You can purchase them at any drug store. If they don’t keep the snoring out completely, maybe they will at least muffle the sound. Good Luck. Having had a snoring Dog, our solution was to put him on a diet. After loosing a little weight the snoring was reduced considerably.Wish I had the answer to this….. My 9 month old shih tzu snores louder than my husband. It’s cute during the daytime but annoying when Im trying to sleep…
Ok well i’m trying to decide out of a cocker spaniel, great dane, grey hound, or dalmatian i mean i have always wanted one but i already have 2 other dogs and i love them and for some reason i feel like they need more company!! money is no problem and i have land so they have plenty of room to run i normally train them and their inside dogs. My personality is fun sporty crazy calm and well i can be very different all the time so please help me thanks!!!
