« Does it mean anything to the dog when you….?

When he’s laying down on his side, you rest your head against his side. The chest part.Nah, I’ve seen giant breeds happily dozing while toddlers literally swarmed all over them, and a whole toddler weighs a lot more than just a head. It’s just pressure on them, like when you hold a little kid in your lap or rest your head on someone’s shoulder.
They also tend to have extremely high pain tolerance. My dork of a mastiff will stand there for five minutes tail a-wagging and slamming into the wall with every wag, and he doesn’t even notice. No, this is fine. We actually get this question a lot at the clinic I work for. It’s just like if someone was laying their head on your stomach or side- it depends on the position and the weight they are subjecting you to. It may be comfortable in some positions but awful in some others. Your dog will more than likely move if he is uncomfortable. He will let you know.No i had an english mastiff dog n ***** and i would rest my head on them all the time watching the clouds go by on a sunny (when we have one living in the uk) lol, like other people have said if there uncomfortable they’ll move.If your dog is uncomfortable or if it was hurting , he will move out of the way and it is Very comfortable if you lay in the right spot
I doubt it would hurt his chest. If you are concerned you could lay your head on the dogs back/shoulder. Besides where every you lay your head on your dog if it hurts your dog will move.If your dog is uncomfortable, he will move out of the way. no if it was hurting then of made then uncomfortable they would just move.
