My dog is really smart ( he knows over 100 tricks and knows them in 3 different languages. He can under stand different phases and sentences too) and very good looking he is a very tall black lab in awsome condition and would be great in a movie or something. Most of the time, people will want to find your dog and get them in movies, not have trainers/owners look for movie producers.
A lot of people also like funny dogs that do stuff that is that great. (for example, a dog that barks at the mirror, a dog that rubs his **** on the rug)
You can only just show off your dog. Try to make him visible then any ordinary dog. (for example, make a couple videos of his 100 tricks, write a profile about him, etc.) Join a community of dog trainers that like to post pictures and videos of their dogs.Get him an agent. i am the owner of two female dogs, one a choclate lab mix and one an austraillian shepard mix. Lucky, the lab, is 8 years, and the pup is Lucy, 2 years. lucky has been with us her whole life, and we picked lucy up from a cardboard box at walmart two weeks after she was born 2 years ago. we also have another dog, daisy, who is the daughter of lucky. now lucy and lucky r fighting, and not just play fights, but straight – up dog fights. they just got dun with one, and lucky has a mild wound, but there was blood. it sarted a few months ago, they probably got into about maybe 4 or 5, then stoped for probably a month or so, and now they had two today and yesterday. is there something seriously wrong, or is it just lucy being an annoyance? and i know its not lucky cuz lucy also got into a fight with daizy once, then that was it. what is wrong? what can i do? what punishment should i give lucy? i locked her away from lucky and daizie cuz lucky is very special to me, and i am soooo pissed at lucy. is there a possibility its daizie??? thankyou!I have 2 dogs – one is 10 and one is 3. About 6 months ago they starting fighting – over food, over attention. I have to reinforce that the older dog is top dog so he is fed first, and treated like top dog. I used to throw them outside when they bstarted fighting as they only fought with me around – once outside they weren’t interested. You got this dog at 2 Weeks!!!! No wonder you are having problems with her. You got her from an irresponsible breeder and you got her way to young, she has not learned the vital things a dog should have learned from her Mom. She needs to be trained and you need to keep her away from the other dogs until you can trust her. Female fights tend to be very nasty and are often over pack leadership. Lucy may be trying to move up in pack status. You can help by reasserting your position as pack leader and Lucky’s place next in line, tolerating no dissent from Lucy. Feed Lucky first, allow Lucky in and out of the house first, she gets attention first and be consistent in this at all times. If the fighting continues despite your efforts, you may have to separate the girls permanently.
I had two sisters who could not get along and eventually had to place one to keep the peace. My kennel partner is having a similar situation between a mother/daughter. well maybe they r fighting for dominance. since lucky is getting older lucy senses her “weakness” and takes her chance to dominate lucky. since u have a pack of dogs u will notice that they will fight to be on top. it is just a dog thing. i am not sure who won the fight (i have a feeling that lucy had won) but it may be that the only reason y lucy fought once with daisy is b/c daisy or lucy was okay with being the being the follower and the submissive one. so there was no reason to keep fighting. but since lucky hasnt given up her position lucy wants it. just keep watch of them when they fight and look out for warning signs like teeth showing, growling, rising hair or whatever and if u c something remove one dog from the situation so a fight wont occur. if one does make loud noises to c if they stop if not throwing cold water on them will do the trick.
for punishment dont hit or any thing like that. it seems that u give special treatment to lucky. i know she is special to u but u should treat all the dogs the same. since u do treat her better maybe lucy sense that if she was alpha dog like lucky is then she will have the attention that u give lucky. maybe if u treat everyone the same then lucy wont have the need to want to be top dog. like feed the dogs all at the same time,if u take them on walks if possible take them all out once but if u cannot then dont always take lucky out first, try one day taking lucy and daisy out first and keep rotating them, also make sure if u give one dog a toy or treat u give them all a toy or treat. make everything equal among them and dont favor one oover the other b/c they will know if u do.
give it a try and c if her behavior changes. Why don’t you try to spray Lucy whenever she start to ask for trouble. So, put just plain water in a spray bottle. It won’t do her any harm just wet, and spray onto her face. While you do it, yell at her, like “Bad dog” or “NO”. But don’t apologize afterward. Show how angry you are and that what she does is bad and lock her and just ignore her for about an hour.
Don’t forget to put water, just no snack.
That way, you don’t have to smack her. You might have to do it several times before she gets it.
Hope that helps.

has diarrhea. We got her 2 days ago, her poo was regular. As of today it is wet and runny. Could it be a change in her food? We are feeding her Purina Puppy Chow.YES you dont do that emetatly you do it like this 1/4 new 3/4 regular
2/4 new 2/4 regular 3/4 new 1/4 old 4/4 new… little old like that no emetate changepuppies have very sensitive stomachs. depending on where you got her from, they probably fed her a different type of food. I would wait out the diarrhea, and see if your puppy gets used to the dog food. If she does not get better i would suggest switching foods. A good brand to use is Buffalo Blue dog food. It is a little on the pricy side but it is the best food for your dog.
purina is a average quality food, but may not be suitable for you puppy’s stomach. if you get new food, gradually mix it in with the old food so you do not mess up her stomach.First of all, your dog is about a week too young to have taken from her mother. Second of all, Purina is a very low quality food. Please consider switching gradually to something better (check this site for a complete analysis of most foods on the market – anything with 5 or more stars is good: dogtrainingdogfoodanalysis.com). Keep her hydrated as diarrhoea can cause dehydration. If it persists for more that a couple of days, please get her to the vet as she could have parasites. In the meantime, you can also try giving her some PLAIN canned pumpkin or boiled rice.If you changed her food suddenly from what the breeder was feeding her then yes that’s probably it. Get some of the food the breeder was feeding and slowly mix in the new over a period of 2 or 3 weeks. Purina is a very low quality food. If you’re on a budget I’d recommend Healthwise food, its only a little more expensive but a lot better quality.Yes, if it is not the food it was being fed b 4 it is the change. That should always be done in a gradual way. mixing a little bit of the new food in with the other food. gradually increasing the amt of the new food.
make sure your pup is drinking. it can become dehydrated quickly. You can try to mix some no flavored Pedialyte into the water to replace lost minerals.
B careful and go to the dr. if you even think there’s a prob. When you got your puppy did the person you got her from tell you what kind of food they were feeding her? If you up and changed it on her it WOULD give her diarrhea. If you are changing a dogs food you need to do it gradually from the one she was used to…. in a ratio like 3/4 previous food 1/4 new food… then 1/2 and 1/2 then 1/4 previous food 3/4 new food. It makes the transition easier for them. If her diarrhea doesnt go away call the vet so she doesnt get dehydrated.
Good Luck
Mix some chicken and canned pumpkin in with your purina puppy chow- this mixture is highly digestible and helps harden up soft stool. Also she is adjusting to her new home and if she recently had some shots from the vet then that could be an additional factor. Your puppy should be fine in a few days. Where did you get her from? Breeder, pound, animal rescue? Has she had any Vet care yet? First shots, worming etc? If you know that she is eating different food, it could be as simple as that or a change in water. City vs. well etc. If you got her from a breeder, call and ask what Vet care has already been done. I would suggest taking her to a Vet if this doesn’t stop by tomorrow. Puppies that small can easily become dehydrated.Well try a different dog food for example my dogs use Royal Chain 1 of my dogs is 4 the other is 6 months my dogs are healthy and when i changed my dog chow they weren’t acting normal so maybe try another brand hope your puppy feels better!
~claire kissick~If you changed her food without mixing it to get her use to the new food it could be that. Has she had her shot? They need a schedule of 6-9-12 weeks shots.if you changed her food yes it is the change in the food…
ground beef mixed with rice (in a small amount will harden her poop! good luck

I am part of a group of volunteers who are trying to help a dog rescue get roofs over 35 10×10 kennels at an outdoor dog rescue to protect them from a colorado winter. This is a wonderful rescue that is operated by one woman who is an absolute angel and has given dogs that would not have had a chance a home. They are all very happy and healthy thanks to this rescue. We need roof tops any ideas for materials how to attach to the metal kennels (typical 10 x kennels you see on-line). They are sturdy but free standing and lined up side by side in rows. HOw can we attach roof material and how can we get pitch for drainage. Please help!!My recommendation would be plywood treated with water proofing. as far as pitch the easiest was would likely be to make the roofs free standing on 4x4s with one end standing a bit higher than the other end. contact some of your local contractors and see if they will help you out. Some of them may even install the roofing free if you supply the materials. First off. THANK YOU for helping out living beings that have no voice to speak for themselves
A roof structure is not really all that hard to build. There are several different materials you could use. Probably the least expensive would be tin roofing material. Real easy to cut to fit. It will last a good long time and is relatively cheap to buy. You could also go with fiberglass panels, Commonly used in greenhouses and very lightweight.
If you have heavy snow, Like in Col, you will want to go with a high pitch roof. I would of course slant it to the rear. With that kind of snow you may want to check with a local roofing contractor but I would guess an 8/12 pitch ( 8 inches vertical for every 12 inches horizontal) would be fine. (NOTE I live in an area that never sees snow so get a local opinion on roof pitch) Using 2″ by 6″ pressure treated lumber should be more than adequate for construction needs.
You are doing wonderful things and I would like to be able to call you a friend.I would think the local lumberyard would have corrugated metal or fiberglas sheets, which you would need struts beneath, made of 2×4′s
if you triples the 2×4′s across the back edge of the kennels, it might make enough of a pitch – you’d have to mess around with the measurements.
The corrugated fiberglas would have to be bolted to the wooden frame, and the wood could be attached to the piping of the kennel using U-bolts. If you look in the chain link fence parts at the lumberyard, there are all sorts of attachment parts.
As someone else suggested, try to get the labor donated – if the rescuer, or another group, has a 501(c)3 non-profit, and donor can write off the donation, including professional labor and materials. It never hurts to ask, and call a newspaper while you’re at it.

My puppy is a female that is shy, cute, and sweet. She is white with little brown spots. What should I named her?hi,
Serious or silly, evocative or ironic–whatever you decide to christen your dog, it better be something you’re comfortable both printing on veterinary forms as well as yelling at the top of your lungs from the other side of the park.
here are some choices:
