last night his eye was all red and he could hardly open them, they were watery, i gave his eye an eye bath, and today his eye looked heaps better, still watery but heaps better. now tonight its all sore and red looking again and , i think its called his third eyelid is covering his eye. both eyes are red and sore looking but especially his right eye. otherwise he’s perfectly fine, what could it be, what should i do?It could be where the eyelids are turning in..take him to the vet and they will tell you what it is. If it is when the eyelids are turning in they can do a surgery for it. Hope I helped. He needs to be taken to a vet. Eyes can get worst very quickly.
Don’t muck around with eyes as you don’t wont him to lose his sight. It could be a number of things
The best thing to do is to take your dog to the vets andhave it correctly diagnosed and then treat as perscribed by the vetaids

I have a shih-tzu, and we live in Upstate NY, where the winters get really really cold. So I want to give him warm milk to some what, warm him up. Is this okay? is there anything else i could do besides drying him up, and putting a sweater on him?Milk is NOT "poisonous".
OR dangerous or dirty or any other lamebrained blather spouted here!
A small proportion of dogs can’t handle milk, like a SMALL percentage of PEOPLE!
Dogs do *NOT* need "warm" drink of anything.
Dogs do NOT need clothes.
If a dog gets wet,a towel will do wonders. If you want to give him warm milk (it’s your choice!) give him Goats milk. Cow’s milk isn’t good for dogs – goats milk is closer in makeup to b itches milk and is therefore tolerated better by dogs. He really doesn’t NEED milk however, assuming he’s an adult.
My hounds survived Canadian Winters, provided they were dried properly when they came in, and lived in a warm, and most importantly, draft free environment. In fact they loved the Winter, provided mum spent hours digging paths through the snow for them, when we had a dump – Bassets (males) and deep snow is ouch painful – for obvious reasons!
If you want to coat your lad to protect him from the worse Winter can throw at you (wind especially), again that’s your choice, but nature does provide a dog with natural protection (in all but a few breeds).please! don not feed your dog warm milk. especially the milk we drink. in some cases where owners give their dog milk, the dog ended up dead because of certain bacteria in the milk that does not match up with the dog’s system.
if it’s cold, a warm heater will do nicely. you can place your dogs bed near it but not too near it gets burnt!!!
Also you could have more blankets in the house so that he can snuggle up wherever and whenever he wants while being with you rather than always having to go in a certain room to keep warm and being away from you.
I’m not so sure about feeding dogs warm food or drinks so i’d advise you not to try it until having searched through at least 3 different web sites that tell you the same thing.
hope this helps and keep warm!!
Sometimes, milk in easy on a dog stomach, as long as it is low fat, skim milk, but often times results in diarrhea. Bad diarrhea.
Dogs really don’t need stuff like that. They stay warm on their own. Don’t you have heaters in your house?
As long as your dog has fur, it should be fine. No, dogs should not have regular milk. It is bad for them. There is a dog milk that is given to puppies. You can purchase it at a pet store.Definitely not milk it gives most dogs diarrhoea big style.
www.lactofree.co.uk/news/569/
Heat mat in his basket is a thought only.Don’t given him milk it will give him diarrhoea.
Dogs cant have milk but you can buy doggie milk and that will be ok but not the milk we drink.cows milk is not good for dogs you could use goats milk
make sure he’s dry
make sure your house is heated
keep him brushed and no knots
The hair will insulate himmilk is bad for dogs!!!
but use a hot water bottle Hi,
I have come to help you… I am a Professional Vet and I have these questions all of the time. My answer to this question is yes, it is fine, shiatsu’s are very different dogs to all of the others because they have a different liking and are just like little puppies every time!
So, yes, it is fine that you give him warm milk.
From Vet Marika Hazlett As long as it’s not burning hot, why not?
I used to rub Eucalyptus oil mix with baby oil, of course just a bit of Eucalyptus and beside ticks and fleas, it also warm him a bitits ok as long as he doesn’t have aids

Good with kids.
Good fun.
Some can be noisy. My old boy who I lost 18months ago was a noisy one.Its a hound thing.
Bin burglars & food hoovers.Just come in to find a packet of biscuits that were left in noses reach eaten.
Get bored easily so need plenty of walks & play.
Go to puppy training it will make life easier.
Check out beagle rescue site.
If buying from a breeder chose a good one.You need to see both parents in advance of choosing/picking up a puppy.Do not even look at Epups or similar as you could be getting a puppy from a puppy farm in Ireland or elsewhere.
I have had beagles for 20 years.Beagles are naturally friendly and unaggressive dogs. However, they are hunting dogs by nature and are pack animals by instinct. They make great pets and are good with children but are quickly bored if left on their own and are not the easiest of dogs to train. Calm natured is not an attribute – especially as puppies, if you are not already experienced with dogs I’d suggest another breed – perhaps a labrador?According to Wikipedia, they are known to be even tempered and gentle however, they can also be excitable. They do however mention that beagles are excellent with children, but it does depend on the individual dog…
My dad’s family had a beagle when he was younger, and the dog was not calm natured… but as I said before, there are good and bad dogs of every breed… one of the most gentle dogs I ever met was a rotweiller!
Best to have a look at them before you take them home and find one which seems fairly docile…Pluses – * good medium size (pocket also in the States, I know).
* low maintanance coat
* loves people and company because they are a pack animal
* should be even tempered, so ideal with a family
Minuses (?) This is a hound – and the hunting instinct comes first – however, you may find a line that is less inclined to hunt, than others – check around.
As they are a hound, they do need regular exercise otherwise they will be inclined to put on weight (they can be extremely greedy) and they will get easily bored = potential to be destructive.
They can be noisy – the hound-thing again.
Best homed in a house with a garden – not an apartment dog (although it can be done under the right circumstances – ie ground floor flat with access to the outdoors)I have 2 Beagles. They are lovely animals, very placid and good with children. The thing you have to be careful of is food. They will not think twice of snatching food from anyones hand. They are said to be noses attached to a stomach. You can IM or email me if you want any more info.Check where the actual dogs line comes from.
If they’ve been bred from domestic/pet dogs they should be fairly calm.
BUT if you’re getting them from a working line, Which they are working dogs, get ready for a handfull and get some new walking boots. This site should tell you all you need to know. If you decide it is the breed for you, make sure you buy from a reputable breeder.
www.beagleassociation.org/#/about…Make sure when you get your beagle, that he’s not jumping and hyper/barking, and yes they’ll be very docile and great pets.
Just look for the non-hyper one
.Yes they are good dogs. My teacher last year had a beagle he brought it in one day it was like so calm! It was also so cute! Good Luck getting one!I have a beagle and 2 children, he is very tolerant with them, I would say he was an ideal family dog.Beagles are HIGH maintenance…they’re working dogs..noit the best family pet.Yes.
They are…I would say. yes beagles have amzing temprements they are very child friendlyyesNONE ONLY IN AUSTRALIA

Hi, Last weekend my family and I went to look for a dog and we found this bunch of places Pasa ris farm way 2. And we found this really cute and healthy looking chihuahua. It was being sold at 1000 sing dollars. We would like to get it. So what do u think??well first you have to look at who is selling it. is it a back yard puppy mill person just looking to make a buck? or is it a professional who knows what their doing. you want to make sure they guarantee their dogs are healthy with no defects or issues. also make sure what they’ve done. have they been giving vaccinations? or do you have to do all that. 1000 bucks is not cheap so you want to make sure your getting your moneys worth. it should be a show quality dog!and if everything checks out, go get em’!hi, i live in singapore too and so far as i’ve noticed the farm conditions at pasir ris farm way aren’t very good.
all the pups are kept in small enclosures, forced to eat, play, sleep, pee and poo in that tiny place which would slow down house breaking should you get one.
also, you are not allowed or able to see the parents so you cannot access how the pups will turn out when they’re adults. some of the farms there like Ericsson import pups, although the place is kept clean you’ll have no idea how their parents are like which is very important when choosing a pup. prices of the puppies are also outrageous and the people working there will tell you it’s because the pups are imported, they want to leave people with an impression that imported pups are often better quality and can demand a much higher price that can be double the price of a pup born locally.
other farms that breed the pups there have very bad conditions which are not open to the public, it’s like a puppy mill in my opinion where dogs are treated as breeding machines and puppies are churned out so frequently. the puppies are just brought out to show potential buyers and are often sold with their irresistable cute looks.
there’s a shop Pets Movers where they have soooo many puppies but they are kept in extremely cramped conditions and handled roughly.
so far, i did not find a reliable place in Pasir Ris farmway to purchase puppies. they happen to be more profit oriented, i suggest you adopt a pup from shelters (i think there are few in that area) or you contact a reputable breeder to purchase from.
S$1000 isn’t a lot of money but should you go ahead and purchase from those farms, keep in mind the potential vet bills that come with poorly bred puppies.Have you done any research on the breed itself, to be sure it will suit your personality and family? Sometimes Chihuahuas can be snippity with children. Something to consider if you have kids. Here are a couple of websites to read more on:
www.canismajor.com/dog/chihua.htm…
www.k9web.com/dog-faqs/breeds/chi…
Remember, just because a dog is cute doesn’t mean it will be a good fit for your family. Just make sure you do the proper research on any kind of animal you decide to get, especially if you have children. Otherwise, once you get it home and you decide that you don’t like it, you will have to go through the trouble of finding another home for it.Did you go to the location? Was it clean? Were the dogs well kept? Were the puppies well kept? Have the puppies been checked by a vet? Have the sire and dam had health checks before they were bred? Are the sire and dam Champion show dogs? Is this a puppy mill? I would rather buy a puppy from an ethical breeder. I would never want to support a puppy mill. Be careful what you buy. You may end up paying and paying and paying at the vets for the life of the animal if you do not choose well.
It would be nice if you were to check out rescue groups and save a life.what the hell is a sing dollar? are you retarded? are you trying to say $1,000 or 1000 dollars. I don’t know, if you really want it go for it. Me personaly think they’re ugly.Well if yhuu have the money… go for it because its a pet there to love and it would definetly be worth it.
P.s yhuu wouldnt want to regeret it.
HazzPopzz<3You should ask the store first. If they say it’s healthy and nice, then you can get it.$1000 sin is consider expensive market now is around $800 sin,
try to look at holland V or pasir panjang area.Go 4 It!
Chihuahuas Always Look Like Their He Is Waayy to big for its bodyGET IT!!! Dogs rock <3I think you should go for it!Get it then!! hahaergh hate them dogs,,, rat on sticks…
Get a proper dog..

I’m in a tight situation and maybe you can help me out
Today i’m ready to adopt a dog i found at the spca. Me and my mom both have allergies though but i’m willing to build up an immunity. The problem is my mom has asthma and cant get an inhaler for 5 more days. She leaves at 7 in the morning and doesnt get back until about 6 and then typically spends most of the time in her room but we live in a town house so everything’s relatively close. My question is, how do i get this dog and prevent my mom from getting a reaction because if i wait til next weekend, the dog will most likely be adopted because it’s a puppy lab that’s super sweet
