« What are the advantages of getting a puppy?

I have three dogs, three Jack Russell puppies. I got them to take them out of bad situations (they didn’t look like the dogs were being abused, just like they were being neglected). So, 1 came from a farm, and 2 came from "accidental pregnancies’ or so I thought.
The first dogs original owner, the "breeder" if you will, just called to ask about vaccinations and how the dog is, it’s been a month and he hasn’t called but why not. Then I asked him why, the R.S.P.C.A (Aussies version) is on him about the conditions of his animals and their vaccinations and health as such I am now concerned.
What should I do?
The only really bad thing I know that the dog has is a hernia, so what do you recommend? His vet check is next in two weeks, so what should I say?Follow thru with your vet appt.
The dog is YOURS now, not his.. so what if the RSPCA is on him about his animals? That’s not your problem.
You’ve had the dog a month now.. most diseases in dogs like parvo, distemper, kennel cough, etc only incubate up to about 2 weeks, if even that.. if your dog was going to get sick from something he picked up at the farm, he would have already gotton sick.take the vet records down to the RSPCA tell them you heard you were investigating the guy and explain that you got one of your pups from him and this is what was wrong wtih the dog at the time.
They wo n’t go after you, it’s your dog and you got him all fixed up. I imagine by dong this you’ll help their investiagtion and help potential dogs/pups this guy might breed.Tell him he is on his own. The RSPCA is not after you. They are after him, which means that they know what he has been doing. Someone called on him. Now he is trying to turn it to someone else. You are taking care of the dogs, and trying to get everything squared away. If for some reason the RSPCA contacts you, get the records from the vets office. Get all their vaccines, and make sure everything is up to date, and you wont have a problem. Good luck. Good for you helping those poor dogs. Hi Dear,
See if you can get in early than wait for your 2 week appointment. Tell the vet the pups history and see what test the vet wants to run. Better be safe that sorry later. You are a good person for getting the 3 dogs from places like this.
Your Friend,
poppy1Just make sure your 3 dogs have all their vaccinations and are well-cared-for. You are doing a good thing!
